A bit of Irwin's History Dean and Marjorie Irwin founded Irwin's Office Supplies, Furniture and Equipment in 1960 in Ashland, Ohio. The first store sold office machines and began its business on West South Street. Dean Irwin had worked at Hostetler's Office Supply for 15 years before opening his own business. In the 1980's Dean and Marjorie Irwin moved the store from West South Street to 47 East Main street. Their boys Jim and Tom Irwin worked in the store through their growing years in Ashland. Presently Jim and Tom Irwin own the building at 143 Center Street, where the store is located. Jim and Tom Irwin own and operate Irwin's Office Supplies, Furniture and Equipment.
